Richard Convertino
Richard Convertino is a former top United States prosecutor who successfully prosecuted the first terrorist case after 9/11. After winning the case, he blew the whistle on serious U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) misconduct relating to the war on terror to the U.S. Senate. In retaliation, Convertino lost his position, and the DOJ indicted him for obstruction of justice. A jury of his peers found him not guilty on all counts.
Mr. Convertino enlisted attorneys supported by the National Whistleblower Center to represent him in his Privacy Act and whistleblower claims.
