On December 3rd, the National Whistleblower Center will once again launch its end of year fundraising campaign by participating in #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that is fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized Black Friday and Cyber Monday events, it kicks off the charitable season.
It’s one of the best ways for supporters to become more involved in issues they care about, and NWC is proud to be a participant.
We’ve been working all year to protect whistleblowers, who are the first – and best – line of defense against waste, fraud, abuse, and corruption. We’ve made a lot of progress in 2019.
Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for our End of Year Report, which will dive into what we’ve accomplished this year.
We’re moving the needle, but there’s still a long way to go to make sure that those brave people have the protections and incentives they deserve.
